The sketchbook is where most of my art lives. You might even say that my sketchbook is my closest companion because it goes with me everywhere.

I use a wide range of sketchbooks, which I also like to call “visual journals”. I always have an A5 Art Creations (Royal Talens brand) sketchbook with me, and then use varying sizes and types of paper for other sketchbook work. For example, I was filling up my normal sketchbook too quickly by going to the zoo… so I have a 2-3 separate sketchbook for that (1-2 Art Creations + 1 handmade watercolour sketchbook).
